Other open gardens events

We have links with several other groups who put on open gardens events every year – in Bedminster, Bristol; London; Amsterdam; and in Bologna, Piacenza, Mantova and Verona in Italy. The Dutch and Italian sites provide English translations.

Permanently open gardens in Clifton

Several interesting Clifton gardens are always open to the public and well worth a visit at any time of year. During our Open Gardens weekend, several put on special events. The gardens are:

Victoria Square, a large and beautiful garden with a fascinating history. 

The Mall Gardens, two lovely linked gardens flanked by graceful Georgian terraces.

St Andrew’s Churchyard, with its striking Lime Tree Walk.

Clifton tree trail

Clifton has its own permanent tree trail, indicating the locations of interesting specimens.
